I use abstract
forms and color to express my inner world.
I mainly use acrylic, oil paints and water
color on either canvas, paper, glass…
I do not limit myself. I am open to a wide
array of painting media and techniques.
Aside from brushes, I have fun using twigs,
branches and strings as tools. Colors are the most enjoyable
part of my work. I build textures on canvas or paper so that
I feel the reflection of rich emotions.
I am influenced by both the dynamic scale
of American abstract expressionists and the awareness of
lines in traditional Japanese art. My lines express music,
rhythm and dance to create imaginary spaces.

In creating art, my imagination, inspiration and a kind of
magic work together toward the completion of a piece. I
discover aesthetic truths that convey awe, mystery and
the invincible beauty of the human spirit. Music to the
ear, poetry to the heart is to be felt. Feathers and wings,
and imaginary cosmos appear in my work as my longing toward
                the higher realm.
